A day of belongingness

We start our day with belongingness. My bed, my towel, my dress, my bag, my school etc. Not only things but people also like my friend, my mother, my brother, my boy friend etc.
Why we own things? Why we like to be associated or attached to someone? Why we feel contented due to belongingness?
Is there any answer? I guess no. But one can just make a wild guess or it’s just a filler reply that we are humans.
As we have studied in our school text books that men is a social animal. So maybe it’s a short and simple reply.
Belongingness not only gives satisfaction but at later stage it hurts also.
For example: what’s a general expression when our favorite dress got damaged? Why this Kolavai di ..ohhh shit...ohh fish…freak..!!! Endless expressions.
What if instead of thing a relationship got damaged?
Whether it’s a thing or a person or a relation, it hurts when there is some alteration or detachment but what differs is the time period to heal the absence of the same.
Belongingness causes attachment. Attachment causes addiction. Addiction causes never ending thought of being forever but the truth is nothing lasts forever and this truth hurts the most because we love truth but we hate hearing or realizing the same.
Where & when started, no one knows. But we love and we will love to be belonged to something & someone because we human love solitude but hate loneliness.
